Unlikely as it may seem, we found a local beach in the Cotswolds with golden sands and blue waters and together with a team of creatives we whipped up this beautiful beach-themed wedding decor just for you.

Let them eat cake – your wedding guests will be in for a treat with this beautiful watercolour themed wedding cake. We displayed the cake on afloating cake tablecreated by the team at Fabulous Functions UK. The space between the layers of the table we filled with flowers and fairy lights to create an air of lightness and a little bit of the surreal. Every bride needs her gals and she sure has some beautiful attendants. The super-talentedLibby takes all credit for he hairstyles which stood up to the puffs and breeze off a beachside exposure. The makeup was skilfully applied by the gifted Kamila Roberts MUAGetting the decor right is so important, making sure there is continuity and cohesion between all the elements, it all helps to tell your story. What decor have you chosen for your wedding and celebrations? Here, big beautiful shells nestled amongst eucalyptus leaves and brass candlesticks create just the right balance for a beach-themed wedding celebration. Tables don’t only have to have numbers – names work beautifully too. Don’t you just love a wonky candle? Every time I use a taper dinner candle there are always a few that are unruly and go their own way. Add that extra pizazz to your dinner menu cards, and theme them to the decor and colour scheme for your event. A very ordinary picnic table and benches are dressed ready for a banquet. Continuing the beach /ocean-themed decor we used a green ombre chiffon fabric to create a table runner and added foliage, candelabras, seashells, and conch shells creating a wedding favour with mini messages in a bottle filled with sweets. And you have to have a coordinating table plan for your guests. Macaroons in the sea green-themed colour scheme – perfect as guest favours, they taste so good too!Deciding on your venue is key – we found a beach in the most unlikely of places! The Cotswolds Water Park and Beach on the landlocked border of Wiltshire and Gloucestershire was just perfect. Green spaces, picnic area, lakes, beach, amenities – What more could you ask for?
